The Living Lab Arbequina Catalunya (LLAC) is an innovative platform focused on agroforestry olive systems based on the Arbequina variety in Catalonia, within the Garrigues and Siurana PDOs. The LLAC will establish an exchange and participatory forum including farmers, cooperatives, technicians, researchers, public administrations, and consumers to develop and test sustainable management practices. Thus, the final aim of the LLAC is to develop agroecological solutions in order to improve soil health, olive productivity, product quality and climate resilience in Mediterranean olive groves.
